Description

The Metabo SB 18 LTX BL I 18V Brushless Cordless ½” Hammer Drill 2x5.2 Ah Kit is German engineered and manufactured to provide extreme power, safety, and extended runtime for the most demanding industrial applications. Metabo's 2nd generation BRUSHLESS Motor technology runs cooler and maximizes the energy transfer from the battery to the spindle, creating highest efficiency for longer motor life, maximum continuous power, and extended run time. The selection switch changes from drilling mode (rotation only) to hammer drilling mode (rotation with impact). When in hammer drilling mode, the tool has a maximum impact rate of 38,000 BPM. The tool features a two-speed reversible transmission and variable speed trigger. Its slim design with rubber coated grip provides comfort and control during extended use. The integrated Anti-Kickback feature with gyroscopic sensors for maximum user safety works in all directions to instantly stop the tool if an accessory should bind, sounding an audible alarm. The tool features Precision Stop electronic controls that offer 10 different speed/torque settings for precise control in a wide range of applications, as well as drill mode for continuous power. Included with the electronics is an Overload Protection feature, as well as a selectable impulse mode for easy removal of damaged screws and spot-drilling on smooth surfaces. The two multi-function LED lights provide bright illumination of the work area and flash red when the gyroscopic sensors are triggered. The package includes (2) 5.2Ah Li-Power battery packs, (1) ASC 55 charger, all-steel keyless chuck, side handle, and metaBOX 145 L stackable case. Every Metabo battery is engineered with multiple levels of protection to extend service life.
